Job Description:
A role in market research is all about data, here secondary data. As the name suggests, the analyst
will plan, implement, control, analyze and report on information that they gather. The data they
collect will normally revolve around what organizations or people buy, need, do or think and the
reasons why. It is used for new product testing, assessing customer preferences, evaluating
competition and monitoring staff or customer satisfaction.
Role/Profile:
• Carrying out both primary and secondary research
• Handle international client deliverables of strategic client like (Unilever, RB, P& G) independently.
• Liaising with clients via face to face meetings, email and the telephone;
• Act as a facilitator between client /client service requirement and local country production
• Ensure consistency and quality of delivery to the client;
• Formulating a plan/proposal and presenting it to the client or senior management;
• Update database as specification and requirement change over time.
• Briefing interviewers and researchers;
• Query resolution between local country and client or production centers ( eg-data queries).
• Managing client queries and update requests.
• Undertaking ethnographic research (observing people in their homes and other environments);
• Conducting qualitative or quantitative surveys, which may involve field, interview or focus group
assessments;
• Using statistical software to manage and organize information;
• Monitoring the progress of research projects;
• Analyzing and interpreting data to identify patterns and solutions, including surveys and focus
group transcripts;
• Writing detailed reports and presenting results;
• Advising clients/senior management on how to best use research findings;
Ideal candidate would have:
1. High energy and self-motivated professional with the ability to make things happen, work under
pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
2. Basic understanding of Market Research/Data Analysis
3. Basic proficiency in results interpretation4. Basic understanding of client prespective and analytical skills besides having computer skills.
5. Fluency in English
Qualifications:
MBA, BBA, B.Sc., B.com, BA, M com, MA (Result Awaited also considerable)
Note:- B.E , B.Tech, IT graduates are not allowed
Experience:
Fresher’s or 0-2 Years
Good in MS Office & Should be good with use of Excel
